Tennessee State Graduate Amoré Dixie Named One of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch
Amoré Dixie has been named one of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch for 2026, earning recognition for her outstanding leadership, academic achievement, and unwavering commitment to serving the Tennessee State University community.
A proud graduate of Tennessee State University, Amoré built a legacy centered on leadership, advocacy, and student engagement while serving as the 96th Miss Tennessee State University. Throughout her collegiate journey, she became a respected campus leader dedicated to empowering students and strengthening the university community.
Her leadership journey began as Miss Freshman in the 82nd Student Government Association before continuing in the 83rd Student Government Association as the Women’s Center and Counseling Center Representative-at-Large. In that role, she advocated for student wellness, inclusion, and campus support initiatives while serving as a voice for her fellow students.
Amoré also demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, earning recognition as a five-time Dean’s List honoree while balancing a demanding schedule of leadership and campus involvement.
Beyond student government, she expanded her leadership through membership in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity, Incorporated, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she served as Sergeant-at-Arms.
Through scholarship, leadership, and meaningful service, Amoré represented Tennessee State University with excellence, purpose, and pride while inspiring those around her to lead with integrity and compassion.
Her dedication to academic excellence, student advocacy, and servant leadership has earned her recognition as one of HBCU Times’ 2026 Graduates to Watch.
