Alabama State Graduate Devian Stallworth Named One of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch
Devian Stallworth has been named one of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch for 2026, earning recognition for her outstanding leadership, academic excellence, and commitment to service.
A proud graduate of Alabama State University, Stallworth continued her family’s enduring legacy at the university as the youngest of her siblings to earn a degree there. She graduated with a degree in Finance, building an impressive record of leadership, scholarship, and community engagement throughout her collegiate journey.
While at Alabama State, Stallworth became an active leader across campus through organizations including the Student Center for the Public Trust, Women in Finance, the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Collegiate 100, and the NAACP.
Her involvement reflected a passion for ethical leadership, financial excellence, mentorship, and advocacy while balancing the demands of a rigorous academic schedule.
In addition to her campus leadership, Stallworth gained valuable professional experience through competitive internships with Deloitte, where she strengthened her skills in finance, strategic thinking, and professional development while preparing for success in the corporate world.
After graduating with honors and earning her bachelor’s degree in four years with a strong academic record, Stallworth is preparing to continue her educational journey at Columbia University, where she will pursue a master’s degree.
