Cheyney University Graduate Jasmin Criss Named One of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch
Jasmin Criss has been named one of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch for 2026, earning recognition for her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to professional growth.
A distinguished Business Administration graduate of Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Jasmin graduated as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2026 while building an impressive record of scholarship, leadership, and service.
As a member of Cheyney University’s Honors Academy, Jasmin earned recognition as a Keystone Full Tuition Scholarship recipient, maintained consistent Dean’s List honors, and was inducted into the Fine Arts Honor Society, reflecting her dedication to academic achievement across multiple disciplines.
Beyond the classroom, Jasmin served on the Academic Literacy Committee for the Department of Business, Education, and Professional Studies, where she contributed to initiatives supporting student learning and academic success.
Professionally, she completed a Summer 2025 Digital Marketing Internship with Eagle Staffing through the Urban League of Greater Philadelphia, gaining valuable experience in marketing, communications, and organizational strategy.
Jasmin is also a proud Thurgood Marshall College Fund Scholar, further demonstrating her commitment to leadership development and academic excellence.
Inspired by Cheyney University’s historic legacy as the nation’s first Historically Black College and University, Jasmin embraced every opportunity to strengthen her leadership skills, expand her professional experience, and prepare for future success.
Following graduation, she will continue her education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration at West Chester University, where she plans to explore career opportunities in business, marketing, and organizational development.
