Rejoice Anaele has been named one of HBCU Times’ 14 Graduates to Watch for 2026, earning recognition for her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to public service.
A proud graduate of South Carolina State University, Rejoice graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics, distinguishing herself as one of the university’s most accomplished student leaders and scholars.
As a member of the Dr. Emily England Clyburn Honors College, Rejoice balanced academic achievement with leadership, professional development, and service throughout her collegiate journey.
Her dedication to student leadership was evident through her service as Vice President of the Student Government Association, where she championed student engagement, leadership development, and initiatives designed to strengthen the student experience. Her collaborative leadership style earned the respect of both students and university administrators.
Beyond campus leadership, Rejoice expanded her professional experience as a Data Transparency Intern with the United States Department of the Treasury. In that role, she evaluated fiscal data sets and contributed to projects supporting informed budgetary and financial decision-making, further developing her expertise in economics, data analysis, and public policy.
Driven by a passion for excellence and lifelong learning, Rejoice has been accepted into graduate school at Columbia University, where she will continue building upon her interests in economics, business, leadership, and public policy.
